In March this year, we were delighted to be invited to Admiralty Arch to discuss our timto concept with representatives of the Cabinet office who are currently consulting on the 'Giving' Green Paper.
The 'Giving Green' Paper asks how society can “engage the young from the outset” and “ensure that younger children have the opportunity to learn about giving at a young age”. timto has numerous examples of parents discussing (possibly or the first time) the concept of charitable giving and also which charity to support with their children. We believe these early discussions can be the key to building links that may last a lifetime and help breed a new culture of generosity.
