Classmates can write a personal thank you message on the memento page and contribute towards a collective gift. This way the whole class acts together to give a truly memorable gift. Just imagine giving a trip to the theatre, a kindle or gifts vouchers so that the teacher can buy their perfect gift.

Example:
25 classmates (& parents) contribute £125 to Mrs Williams’ fund. They decide to spend £115 on a luxury spa day and donate £10 to the school PTA.

A parent (acting on behalf of the class) sets up a free online memento page for the teacher. The parent will receive a password which they need to distribute to the other parents. An easy way to do this is to use our free information leaflets (downloadable on our website)

Classmates & their parents then access the online memento page to write their personal message and if they choose to, also contribute towards collective gifts. (The individual amount contributed cannot be viewed by the teacher or other contributors).

Firstly, the organisers decide on what proportion of the total amount collected is donated to charity and which charity to support. After you have deducted your charitable donation, the remaining funds can be spent on gifts or vouchers.
