Chucklebutties, the award winning children's play centre in Belper is teaming up with timto to launch an exciting children's birthday service in Derbyshire.
The first of its kind, timto.co.uk, is an online children’s birthday present service that also enables families to donate to their favourite charity when they celebrate a birthday. The unique service lets a child build a dream present wish list using a host of well-known retailers, whilst simultaneously choosing a charity they would like to support. Party guests can add a birthday message and have the option to contribute towards a gift along-aside other friends.
Steph Jansen, the owner of Chucklebutties Party Venue said “We are always looking to find fun ways of adding a new dimension to our birthday parties. The option for guests to now use timto’s service means that we can also help charities such as Home-Start Amber Valley, which I am delighted to be able to encourage.”
Nathan Cornish, co-founder of timto said “We aim to make birthdays parties even more fun and bring a real feel-good factor to children’s celebrations. We identified that over £200 million per annum is currently spent on birthday party presents that are never subsequently used. So we hope to help redistribute some of this expenditure towards quality presents and a donation to a charity.

Donations will go towards recruiting and training volunteers from the local community, who are usually parents themselves, to offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families within the Amber Valley area."
